After being on Masterchef in 2014 Theo resigned from his IT business of 15 years to follow his passion for food. Born in London, Theo comes from a large Greek Cypriot family, he has lived in America for five years and has backpacked around the world. He now lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and three children - his wife will never backpack again.

Theo started his food career hosting a sell-out pop restaurant serving 8 course tasting menus, was invited by Sheraton Grand in Bangkok and Paresa resort Phuket to host a ‘dining with Theo’ night and is a well known chef and presenter often spotted in the media.

Theo is a best-selling author having written five cookbooks including his most recent; ‘Rustica’ – Mediterranean village food and previously saw the hugely successful ‘SHARE’ and ‘Orexi! – feasting at the modern Greek table’ which was translated into three languages. Not adverse to a bit of self-promotion Theo has appeared on ITV This Morning for the last few years and on Sky’s The Food Network. Theo is responsible for all food for Elsewhere events which range from the intimate to the extreme. From fine dining Christmas gala dinners, to managing five services a day for several hundred guests for 48 hours during one of our many corporate festivals. Be it creating vegan streetfood for a thousand Christmas guests, prosecco fondu waterfalls, 20 ft asado style bbqs cooking 4 whole animals simultaneously over 10 hours or a fine dining wedding breakfast for 80. The food and design changes; but the Elsewhere creativity and dedication to quality remains constant.

Theo spent the first part of lockdown running over 30 kids online cookalongs.
